There are endless opportunities available today. It doesn’t matter what your area of expertise it, there is always something in the offing. In the wake of technology, everything is accessible at the comfort of our phones if not PCs.

Today, I have spent an hour applying for the Next Generation Women Leaders training workshop to be in Paris, May 24-26. This is an opportunity for young female students and professionals from Europe, Africa and the Middle East with less than 6 years experience. This is a brain child of McKinsey & Company.

There is no better time to live than this. Everywhere I turn there is a new opportunity availing itself. Scholarships, fellowships, internships, and call for submissions. There is something for everyone, as long as you look in the right direction.

Blogs and websites have been published with a keen focus to display new opportunities every time they arise. It is important to note that almost all applications require similar documentation except when it is an opportunity for a particular field of study.

It is not a guarantee that one will get attain the opportunity they apply to the very first time but the key is to keep at it. Other people will have luck on their side and apply only once.

Polish up your resume writing skills. Learn how to write a motivation letter. Refine you cover letter’s diction. And update your portfolio if you will be applying for a technical course/opportunity.
