UrbanKenyans is an online platform where Kenyans from around the World share and get informed about education, tourism, automobile, technology, etc.
UrbanKenyans Scholarship Program sponsors outstanding young students from developing countries who wish to pursue a Master’s degree studies in a relevant field of development, from any recognized university/college in the world.

The award giveaway would be USD 1200 to 1 winner each year.
Eligibility:
- Applicant must be of at least 23 years of age at the time of submitting his/her application.
- Applicant must have obtained or is on the last step of completing their undergraduate degree from an accredited college/university, or it’s equivalent.
- Applicant must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 rating system
- Applicant must select a subject of, such as STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).

Make sure that you fulfill the UrbanKenyans Scholarship Award Eligibility Criteria before you apply. You must submit below details to be eligible for the scholarship program.
- General background information (e.g. contact details with phone number and details about your current and intended universities)
- Academic transcripts from your current and prior college/university (if you have earned a prior degree)
- A short essay of around 400 words explaining “The Need of Each Field From STEM”

Winner Announcement: Winner will be announced on 15 January each year. Winner will be notified through Email and also will be mentioned on our website.
Note: Winner should claim their award within 7 workings days after the winner announcement date and if not claimed then 1st runner-up will be chosen as the winner. Also, we reserve rights to re-use the essay of the winner on our website.
