Jazz Love
My love for jazz music goes back six years. I can’t even say what I used to listen to them because it is all forgotten. In jazz, I found life and love.
Its spontaneity and rhythm keep me hooked. More than the content, it is its delivery.
It is for the lovers of jazz-like myself that Safaricom presents to you the fifth edition of the Safaricom Jazz Festival.

This year you can expect nothing less. Come join us on Sunday 25th February 2018 at the Kasarani Training Grounds in Nairobi, as we celebrate the 5th edition of the Safaricom International Jazz Festival with yet another line-up of brilliant performers from USA, Israel, Belgium, Germany, South Africa and Kenya.
As an ardent fan of JAZZRADIO.com, I have had the pleasure of listening to jazz music from around the world. Jazz is a storm.
It is exciting to note that the main artist at the Safaricom Jazz Festival is a group made up of three men, two of whom are among my favourite jazz musicians.
The Artists
Headlining the show will be the highly acclaimed American jazz trio BWB, made up of Grammy Award winners Norman Brown (guitar) and Kirk Whalum (saxophone), and trumpeter Rick Braun.
If you love Michael Jackson you’ll be sure to enjoy hits from their 2013 Human Nature tribute album, with tracks such as Billie Jean, Beat It, The Way You Make Me Feel and of course, Human Nature.
These and more will be on stage, come and enjoy music in its purest form.

All For Charity
All proceeds from the event will go towards supporting Ghetto Classics, a non-profit programme that teaches music skills to youth from underprivileged backgrounds in Nairobi and Mombasa. Since launch, the Safaricom International Jazz Festival has raised over KES 37 million from proceeds of the event, funds that are being used to transform the lives of over 1400 young boy and girls through music, education and much more.
