Business ideas that you can start with little capital

2020 is a unique year for everyone in Kenya. Most people I meet are anxious and they tell me how they do not have money but would wish to start a business they came up with during lockdown.

Well, I have some news for you. Today I am going to list Business ideas that you can start with little capital and succeed.

Let us get started…

Here is a list of 5 profitable business ideas to invest your money in 2020.

  1. Blogging

blog can be a profitable business, and the best part is that you don’t need a lot to start and you can blog from home.

All you need is a computer, internet access, a domain, a WordPress template, and an email marketing service for newsletters.

With all that in place, just choose a specific market niche, such as fashion, beauty, or fitness to start writing about.

I recommend you choose something that you have the knowledge or an interest in learning to start producing content.

Whatever the niche, the key to success is keeping the content aligned with the interests of your target audience and having a constant frequency of posts to generate more traffic.

  1. Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate Marketing is promoting other people’s products on your platforms through a link or coupon and in return, you earn a commission on each sale they make from your link.

Affiliate marketing is one of the popular ways bloggers make money on the internet.

There are several companies in Kenya that allow affiliate marketers to register with them. Jumia for example, lets you sign up as an affiliate and promote their products.

Another little-known niche in affiliate marketing that Kenyans do not know quite well but it is huge elsewhere in the world is the online casino affiliate niche. This is something you can start with low capital and can get an insane ROI as it is one of the most profitable niches in the whole world. The popularity of online slots in Kenya is only increasing over time and the potential now is even bigger than in the past.

You do not need a huge investment to get started with this kind of jobs. Be able to repair and purchase basic tools. You can invest in appliance and clothing repairs, for example.

  1. Writing business plans

As I mentioned at the beginning, so many people are looking to start a business. Many do not even know how to write a business plan. If you are one of those people who is dedicated to understanding business before you even have yours, how about turning that skill into a paid service? Help people who have good ideas, but do not know how to structure them and put them on paper.

  1. Become a Masseuse

This year is stressful, and I do not know how much I can stress that 😉

We are more stressed than ever. With tension rising, people are looking for massage therapists who can offer some relaxation. Start by offering massages at home. In the future, you can invest in setting up a clinic or spa. You will still need to purchase a mobile bed and some products, such as massage oils.
